Siamo solo a metà inverno, è il periodo più freddo dell'anno, e qualcuno di noi già non vede l'ora che arrivi la Primavera, con i suoi colori tenui e la sua luce più calda.
Forse è stato proprio il desiderio di creare un'atmosfera primaverile nella loro casa di Rotterdam, che ha indotto Petra e Arjen ad accettare la proposta, fatta dalla interior designer Marianne Luning, di dipingerne le pareti di rosa.
Il rosa scelto da Marianne non ha però niente a che vedere con il rosa confetto. E neanche con il rosa antico. È una splendida tonalità di rosa polvere, molto rilassante ed avvolgente. Un rosa che si accosta perfettamente ai pavimenti in legno e che mette in risalto i bei soffitti decorati della casa.
Ma se vi sembra che tinteggiare le pareti possa essere un po' eccessivo, concediamoci almeno un dettaglio rosa; un anticipo di Primavera, che presto arriverà.
Midwinter pink
We are only in midwinter, it is the coldest time of year, and some of us already is looking forward to the spring, with its soft colors and its warmer light.
Perhaps it was the desire to create a spring atmosphere in their home in Rotterdam, which induced Petra and Arjen to accept the proposal made by the interior designer Marianne Luning, to paint the walls pink.
Pink chosen by Marianne is however not the candy pink. And even old rose. It 's a beautiful shades of dusty rose very relaxing and enveloping. A color that will go perfectly with wooden floors and which highlights the ornate ceiling of the house.
But if it seems that whitewash the walls of your home can be 'too much, at least we give only a detail pink; an early spring that will come soon.
