La bandiera nel living

Gli Hamptons, a circa 130 km da New York, sono da sempre  il luogo di villeggiatura prescelto dall'upper class newyorchese e da artisti ed attori famosi.

Grazie alle spiagge di sabbia bianca sulle quali s'infrangono le onde dell'Oceano, la vegetazione mossa dalla brezza marina, e soprattutto grazie alle splendide ville,  molti registi li hanno scelti come location  per i loro film.

Questa villa firmata da Robert Stilin, interior design che si divide tra New York e gli Hamptons, sembra proprio un set cinematografico in cui tutto è studiato nei minimi dettagli per dare una sensazione d'eleganza rilassante ed informale, miscelando colori, tessuti e materiali naturali, in perfetta sintonia con la natura circostante che la avvolge e quasi sembra entrare nella casa attraverso le grandi vetrate. 

Fotografie alle pareti contrastano con gli  arredi dalle linee moderniste  e rimandano ad altri luoghi, mentre una grande bandiera nel living sembra riaffermare con orgoglio "siamo negli States".

The Hamptons, about 130 miles from New York City, are the holiday destination chosen from Upper class New York and by artists and famous actors.

Thanks to the white sand beaches, the waves of the Ocean, the vegetation moved by the breeze, and especially thanks to the beautiful villas, many filmmakers have chosen them as the location for their films.

This villa signed by Robert Stilin, interior design, which is divided between New York and the Hamptons, it looks like a movie set where everything is studied in detail to give a feeling of relaxed and casual elegance, mixing colors, fabrics and natural materials in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature that envelops and almost seems to enter the house through the large windows.

Photographs on the walls contrast with the furniture by modernist lines and refer you to other places, while a large flag in the living seems to reaffirm pride "we are in the Usa."
