Accade che, dopo aver mangiato qualcosa dal sapore molto dolce, venga immediatamente il desiderio di compensare con qualcosa di salato (e viceversa).
Dopo l'esplosione di colori delle case di cui ho parlato nei due precedenti post, a me è venuta voglia di un po' di rigore e sobrietà, colori neutri e semplice eleganza.
Tutto questo l'ho trovato in questo appartamento parigino di Passage Saint Antoine, Bastille, che appartiene ad un fotografo d'interni.
Si tratta di un bilocale in cui il living e la camera da letto prendono luce e si aprono su un piacevole cortile.
Nell'angolo cottura, delimitato da una penisola, è stata creata una parete attrezzata con spazi chiusi da eleganti sportelli cromati; un'idea interessante per chi, avendo la cucina a vista, voglia accordarla con il resto dell'ambiente.
L'arredo è anch'esso semplice e lineare ma arricchito da importanti pezzi di design come la lampada tripode "Rosy Angelis" disegnata da Philippe Stark nel 1994 e prodotta da Flos, la poltrona "Panton" disegnata da Verner Panton nel 1959 (qui nell'angolo studio), e le due poltrone di Charles and Ray Eames, la celeberrima RAR Rocking Chair (1950), e, nella camera da letto, la scenografica La Chaise, disegnata nel 1948 per un concorso di design indetto dal MOMA di New York, il cui nome allude alla scultura galleggiante realizzata nel 1927 da Gaston Lachaise.
L'appartamento può essere affittato per brevi periodi e chissà se prima o poi...
Elegance and design to the Bastille
It happens that, after eating something very sweet taste, is immediately the desire to compensate with something salty (and vice versa).
After the explosion of colors of the houses I mentioned in the previous two posts, I need to a little rigor and sobriety, neutral colors and simple elegance.
All these I have found in this Parisian apartment of Passage Saint Antoine, Bastille, which belongs to a interior photographer.
It is a two-room apartment where the living room and bedroom are taking light and open onto a pleasant courtyard.
In the kitchen, surrounded by a peninsula, was created a wall equipped with enclosed spaces from elegant chrome doors; an interesting idea for those who, having the kitchen corner, wants to tune it with the rest of the environment.
The decor is simple and straightforward but also enriched by important design pieces such as lamp tripod "Rosy Angelis" designed by Philippe Starck in 1994 and produced by Flos, the chair "Panton" designed by Vermer Panton in 1959 (here in the study area), and the two chairs by Charles and Ray Eames, the famous RAR Rocking Chair (1950), and, in the bedroom, the scenic La Chaise, designed in 1948 for a design competition organized by the MOMA in New York , whose name alludes to the floating sculpture created in 1927 by Gaston Lachaise.
The apartment can be rented for short periods of time and who knows if sooner or later...
