Chi avrà la fortuna di andare a Londra entro il 3 luglio 2016 al Victoria and Albert Museum potrà visitare un'interessante mostra, "Botticelli Reimagened", che esplora i modi in cui il grande artista fiorentino (1 marzo 1445- 17 maggio 1510) ha influenzato, per più di 500 anni, pittura, scultura, stampa, moda, fotografia, cinema e tutte le forme di espressione.
Una delle opere più conosciute ed amate di Botticelli è la Primavera (personificazione della rinascita degli elementi naturali) che, al di là dei significati allegorici, è, per i dettagli naturalistici, un inno alla bellezza di questa stagione, oltre che un vero e proprio catalogo botanico di specie vegetali, censite in occasione dell'ultimo restauro nel 1984.
Ed a proposito di primavera, anche il design talvolta si ispira a questa stagione ed ai fiori che ne sono l'emblema.

One of the best known works of Botticelli,"Primavera",personification of the revival of the natural elements, beyond the allegorical meanings, is a hymn to the beauty of this season for the naturalistic details and it is a real botanical catalog, recorded during the last restoration in 1984.
