Atelier Moderno, design studio on Montreal, has signed the recovery of this former factory of the '50s, that became  the loft of a designer, his sons and their dog.
The brick building retains some original structural elements, such as the concrete block wall that runs along the corridor, emphasized by the light strip on the floor, or  the ceiling   skylights, typical of industrial buildings.

These elements interact with minimalist furnishings and contemporary, and are opposed to some pieces of recovery, as the old peeling door, or vintage, like the furniture, inherited from the father of the landlord.

So, that's what I mean when I write I like the interior "contaminated".
