Un edificio tipicamente haussmaniano nel 5° arrondissement a Parigi, una famiglia che rientra in Francia dopo 10 anni trascorsi in Inghilterra ed un grande appartamento di 250mq abbandonato da molto tempo: questi sono gli elementi di partenza di questo progetto.
L'architetto ed ebanista autodidatta Jean-Francois Faure, incaricato di ridisegnare gli spazi su misura per France, Jean-Christophe ed i loro tre figli, sfrutta gli elementi originari tipici di questo interno creando una cornice ideale per la raffinata collezione di mobili anni 50 e di fattura contemporanea dei suoi clienti, cui aggiunge alcuni pezzi disegnati e realizzati da lui stesso, come il mobile sottolavello del bagno padronale.
La cucina integrata con la sala da pranzo, luminosa, efficiente ed elegante è l'ambiente in cui tutti questi elementi si fondono perfettamente ed è la stanza preferita da France e dalla sua famiglia.

Contemporary classic in Paris
A typical Haussmanian building in the 5th arrondissement in Paris, a family who returned to France after 10 years spent in England, and a large apartment of 250sqm abandoned for a long time: these are the starting points of this project.
The architect and self-taught cabinetmaker Jean-Francois Faure, charged with redesigning the right space for France, Jean-Christophe and their three children uses the typical original elements of this internal creating an ideal setting for fine collection of 50s furniture and contemporary invoice of its customers, which he adds some pieces designed and manufactured by himself, as the storage under sink of the master bathroom.
The efficient, bright and stylish kitchen, integrated with the dining room, is the environment in which all these elements come together perfectly and is the favorite room of France and her family.
