Come spesso accade, facendo ricerche per un post completamente diverso, mi sono imbattuta per caso in queste foto della casa dell'architetto francese Annabel Karim Kassar in un quartiere antico di Beirut e l'istinto mi ha guidato verso una strada imprevista.
Avevo già visto questa casa pubblicata su Living di settembre 2014, ma queste foto, trovate su AD Spagna, mi hanno colpito molto di più.
Come non rimanere affascinati dal colore delle pareti: verde come le foglie delle palme e arancio come i datteri? Osservate i pavimenti preziosi a disegni geometrici.
Guardate con che sicurezza Annabel mescola stile arabo e design contemporaneo.
Quando le culture diverse s'incontrano e si fondono creano sempre insiemi interessanti. Siete d'accordo?
As often happens, doing research for a completely different post, I stumbled upon these photos of the house of the French architect Annabel Karim Kassar in an old neighborhood of Beirut and the instinct led me to a road unforeseen.
I had seen this house published on Living in September 2014, but these photos, found on AD Spain, impressed me much more.
How not to be charmed by the green (inspired by the leaves of the palm trees) and from orange (such as dates) of the walls? Observe the floors precious geometric designs.
You can see with what security Annabel mixes traditional arabic style and contemporary design.
When different cultures meet each other it always create interesting sets.
